Volunteers Needed for Functional MRI Research Study
Veterans with schizophrenia are needed for a research study to learn more about how a potential new medication affects the brain.
Study Participants:
- Will take study medication for 4 weeks and placebo pills for another 4 weeks (the order in which drug and placebo are taken will be unknown)
- - Will complete MRI scans
- - Will complete clinical interviews and cognitive tests
Volunteers Must:
- Be between 18-70 years old
- - Have a diagnosis of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder
- - Not have metal or electronic devices in their body
- - Not be claustrophobic
