Description
Know as the Walter F. Howarth, American Legion Post 381. We have 700+ Members, including the Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion. All groups meet here and work together on a variety of outings and events for our Veterans and local community. The Legion sponsors Boys State and Girls State (programs that teach students about our U.S. Government). Commander Kevin Stephenson, Legion family officers and the entire staff extends a warm welcome to you and invites you to enjoy the atmosphere and the events on all patriotic holidays.

We are located near the Muskegon River between the historic Croton and Hardy Dams. There are many campgrounds in the area, with great fishing on the river and dam backwaters we would like for you to visit us when in the area. We sponsor the Fourth of July parade in Croton, MI with music and lots of activities for the kids after the parade. We are a co-sponsor of the February free fishing weekend Annual Dam to Dam Ice Fishing Contest on the backwaters of the Croton Dam.
