VFW Ft. Dodge Post 1856

Also know as the Walter Porsch VFW, Post 1856 has 450+ Members, including the Ladies Auxiliary. All these groups meet here for a variety of outings and events. The VFW sponsors Voice of Democracy, Patriot's Pen (Youth Essay Writing Contest), and Teacher / EMT / Police Officer & Firefighter of the Year Awards. Post Commander Ron Arends and the entire staff extends a warm welcome to you and invites you to enjoy the atmosphere and the events on all patriotic holidays.
